My client who was an avid golf player wanted a mobile application with the following features:

- Real-time

- Multiplayer

- Authentication

- Automated golf scorecard

- Automated individual match play process and support for handicap system

- Select and load from all available golf courses in Singapore

Solution

Within 5 months, I developed the solution as a hybrid mobile app and deployed it to both the Appstore and Google Playstore. As a full stack mobile app developer, I

- managed the architectural design for the database

- designed the user interface

- implemented solutions such as caching of images and data, and preloading data to make the mobile app performative

- prototyping

- deployment to both mobile app platforms
