I was the co-leader of and one of the teachers in Coding CAS - my high school's coding club aiming to teach students programming. Although lessons were conducted online due to COVID-19, we managed to make improvements to our lessons. I took into account our students' interests, catering to them by organising our classes into courses with different focuses, each one teaching a different subject such as game development, programming fundamentals and AI. I changed my teaching structure to adopt lesson based objectives where key learning points could be put towards a larger goal such as creating a simple game. This showcased the application aspect of different programming concepts while making lessons more interactive and engaging.
